Loving my job doesn’t make me any less of a mom.

It’s helpful and healthy for my children to see me working.

Just because my kids are in child care doesn’t mean anyone else is raising them.

When it comes to spending time with my kids, I value quality as much as quantity.

It’s really OK if I can’t make every single soccer game/performance/PTA meeting.

I love my children as much as any other mom.

Today I will be fully present wherever I am, at work or at home.

Just because I work doesn’t mean it isn’t hard for me to be away from my kids.

  1. I’m not a bad mom for not missing them every moment of every day. In fact, I think I’m a better mom for spending time away from them. I get very bogged down and touched out when I spend 24/7 with them. After spending the day in my office, focusing on different things, I am ready to get back to them and give them what they need.

  2. I agree with all of these. And anything relating to not feeling guilty as a working mom. I still struggle with guilt still and my son is three! I guess it just comes with the territory.

  3. I am a workin single parent
    A mom
    A daughter
    N guilt cums along
But when i earn n bring gifts home, that happy twinkling eyes waiting to hug me
    Its worth it!!
